Do you work on websites you didn't build?
Absolutely. In fact, working on existing websites is a significant part of what I do.
You don’t need to start over just because your website was built by another developer, agency, or with a different theme or page builder. I regularly work with existing WordPress websites to make updates, fix problems, add functionality, improve performance, customize layouts, resolve plugin conflicts, and make changes that have become difficult to manage.
Before recommending a rebuild, I’ll take a look at what you already have and determine whether it can be improved. In many cases, the existing website can be cleaned up, repaired, and brought up to date without the cost and disruption of starting from scratch.
I can also step into projects where a previous developer is no longer available, an agency relationship has ended, or you simply need an experienced developer to take over ongoing website support.
If your existing website isn’t working the way you need it to, let’s take a look before assuming you need a new one.
Can you fix my WordPress website?
Yes. WordPress troubleshooting and problem solving are a major part of my work.
If your website suddenly stopped working, a page looks wrong, a form isn’t submitting, a plugin is causing an error, your mobile layout is broken, or something changed after an update, I can investigate what is happening and determine the best way to fix it.
I work with issues involving WordPress themes, plugins, Elementor, Divi, WooCommerce, custom code, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, databases, forms, integrations, and other website functionality.
Some problems are straightforward fixes. Others require digging into the website to find the underlying cause rather than simply treating the symptom. My goal is to identify what’s actually causing the problem and provide a practical solution.
And if I determine that the problem is related to outdated software, poor configuration, hosting, or another issue outside the immediate code, I’ll explain that as well so you understand what needs to be addressed.

Do I need to rebuild my website?
Not necessarily.
A website that looks outdated or isn’t performing the way you’d like doesn’t automatically need to be replaced. Depending on its condition, it may be possible to improve the existing website through a redesign, theme or template changes, performance optimization, technical repairs, content updates, or custom development.
I’ll look at the website, understand what isn’t working, and help determine whether an update, redesign, repair, or complete rebuild makes the most sense.
There are situations where rebuilding really is the better option — for example, when a website has outdated technology, an unstable foundation, excessive plugin or theme conflicts, significant security concerns, or limitations that make future improvements impractical. But I won’t recommend a rebuild simply because it’s the biggest project.
If the existing website can be improved effectively and doing so makes financial and technical sense, I’ll tell you that.
The goal isn’t to sell you a new website. The goal is to give you a website that works well for your business.
Do you work with WooCommerce?
Yes. I work with WooCommerce for both new online stores and existing stores that need development, troubleshooting, customization, or ongoing support.

WordPress websites aren’t truly “set it and forget it.” WordPress core, themes, plugins, PHP, and other website components are regularly updated, and those updates can sometimes create conflicts or unexpected problems.
Depending on your needs, ongoing support can include WordPress and plugin updates, troubleshooting, content changes, backups, security-related maintenance, performance improvements, compatibility issues, and general technical support.
I can also help with occasional updates and one-off maintenance needs if you don’t require a recurring maintenance arrangement.
The goal is to keep small issues from becoming big ones and to give you someone you can contact when something goes wrong or you need a technical change made.
You don’t have to become your own website administrator. I can handle the technical side so you can focus on your business.

Do you only work with WordPress?
WordPress is my specialty and where I have the deepest experience, but it isn’t the only platform I work with.
Over the years, I’ve worked with platforms and technologies including WooCommerce, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Duda, Storyblok, and other website systems.
That broader experience is useful because not every business or project has the same requirements. Sometimes WordPress is clearly the right choice. Other times, an existing website is already built on another platform and the goal is simply to improve or maintain it.
I don’t believe in forcing every project onto the platform I happen to prefer. I’ll look at what you’re trying to accomplish, what you already have, and what your website needs to do before recommending an approach.
WordPress is where I specialize, but the goal is always to find the solution that makes the most sense for your website and your business.
How much does website development cost?
There isn’t a single price that applies to every website because the cost depends on what you’re building, how much customization is required, and what your website needs to accomplish.
A straightforward informational WordPress website is very different from a custom WordPress site with advanced functionality, a WooCommerce store, third-party integrations, membership functionality, or other specialized requirements.
The same applies to existing websites. A small troubleshooting issue may only require a few hours of development, while a complicated technical problem or major redesign may require considerably more work.
Rather than giving you a generic price based only on the number of pages, I’ll first understand what you need and determine what the project actually involves. You’ll receive a clear scope of work and estimate before development begins, so you know what you’re paying for.
If you’re working with a specific budget, it’s also helpful to tell me that during the initial conversation. There may be several ways to accomplish the same goal, and I can help determine the most practical approach.
